03/07/2016

It is the most relevant wind power event in the country and will take place on 8-9 March in Warsaw

Wind Power Poland

ACCIONA Windpower, a subsidiary of ACCIONA Group which designs and manufactures wind turbines, will be present at Wind Power Poland, the biggest wind power dedicated event in the country. Organized by the Polish Wind Energy Association (PWEA), in cooperation with EWEA (European Wind Energy Association), it will take place on 8-9 March in Warsaw.

Company’s participation in the fair

It is the fourth time ACCIONA Windpower exhibits at this must-attend event, where the company will be displaying its position in the Polish wind market  where its 3 MW and 1.5 MW platforms have achieved a significant level of sales- in addition to showing the company success and its comprehensive turbine portfolio available worldwide.

Visitors to the booth will have the chance to see a virtual AW3000 wind turbine, through the Reality Capture online platform —a technology developed by the ACCIONA Group R&D Department— which provides a 360° digital representation of the turbine through 3D images and photographs.

Two iPad stations will enable users to explore the inside and outside of the nacelle and the base of the tower. It will be an unprecedented experience allowing our clients and visitors to learn all about the AW3000 wind turbine in an almost real-life setting.
